ETHICS OF PUBLICATIONS

The relationship between authors, editors and reviewers in our journal is based on academic amiability, objectivity of evaluation and priority of scientific quality. We adhere to the principles of the Code of Conduct for Editors defined by the scientific publications Ethics Committee, in particular:

HONEST GAME

Manuscripts shall be assessed for their scientific quality regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality or political beliefs of an author.

EXCLUSION OF PLAGIARISM, LIBEL AND INFRINGEMENT OF COPYRIGHTING

Our journal rejects any material that violates legal requirements regarding plagiarism, libel and copyright infringement.

SCOPE OF EDITOR’S RESPONSIBILITY

The Editor-in-Chief shall follow the journal’s editorial policy and consult with other editors or reviewers on the decision regarding publications.

EDITORS

● have the full right to reject/accept articles and are guided with objective scientific criteria and conclusions of reviewers;

● ensure quality of published materials;

● shall avoid any conflicts of interest;

● maintain the confidentiality of information relating to given manuscripts;

● defend freedom of the scientific expression.

In case an editor has any doubts as regards the authenticity, originality or ethical correctness of an article, the publication of the latter is postponed until doubts are eliminated. Unpublished materials of the given handwriting shall not be used in the editor’s own research without the written consent of an author.

SCOPE OF AUTHOR’S RESPONSIBILITY

The authors shall

● make sure they have written really original works;

● make a significant contribution into the research activity (if an article is written by several authors);

● guarantee permission to use copyright materials;

● confirm that the manuscript has not previously been published anywhere and is not currently being considered for publication elsewhere;

● indicate all sources used in writing their manuscripts;

● disclose in their manuscripts any significant conflicts of interest that may affect the assessment of their manuscripts.

Information obtained by authors privately, for example, during a conversation, correspondence or discussion with the third parties, shall not be used or reported without the explicitly written permission of the source. By submitting an article to the editors, the authors agree that (if the journal is published in the paper version) their text will be automatically published in the online version of the journal (publicly available).

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY OF REVIEWERS

The reviewers shall:

● inform the editorial board about any conflicts of interest that may determine their conclusion;

● keep information related to the manuscripts confidential;

● be objective and constructive in their reviews.

Unpublished materials of submitted manuscripts shall not be used in the reviewers’ own research without the written consent of an author.
